The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep.
And miles to go before I sleep.
— Robert Frost
Down the memory lane, I reminisce those good old days when our forefathers used to contemplate over their actions, read religious books, and had time for themselves.
Life was worth living—pleasant and rich with pure ideas, thoughts, and actions. Telling fairy tales and singing lullabies, they used to make the children sleep.
Where is that aura and divine touch? Is that mad race for materialism not making us shallow from within?
Pause and Ponder.
What kind of life are we leading?
What is showcased in modern times is an accent on materialism, fleeting values, and artificial embellishment—intense strains, a tide of disillusionment, a godless society, and spiritual starvation. It is not what God ever wished or desired for us. Where have the values gone that were taught to us by Rishis and Gurus? Wake up to the clarion call of Saians and restructure a civilized society—a society of righteous, sincere, and truthful people who endeavour to make our India great.
